Control of correct work of engine

At diagnostics of the engine for the beginning we check the cylinder, rings and the piston which at deterioration lead to reduction of a compression, loss of capacity and decrease in profitability of the engine. Which being exposed to greater loadings, can rumple a groove and extend fixing details. On a surface of the chamber of combustion, on the bottom of the piston and on valves there can be adjournment of a deposit that leads to spontaneous ignition of a mix and faults in work of the engine. In due time checking work of the engine it is possible to warn all these malfunctions. Knock in the zones corresponding the top and bottom position of piston fingers, specifies increase in a backlash in bearings. The sharp metal knock of the piston ring listened in the top half of the cylinder and disappearing at deenergizing of ignition in the given cylinder, specifies increase in backlashes between fingers and plugs of heads of rods or apertures in pistons.

Singing or hum warn of malfunction of the generator, the water pump or a drive of a camshaft. If singing and hum pass in squeal, its reasons can be sliding of a belt of the generator or absence of greasing in bearings of the generator and even their jamming, freezing or jamming of the water pump. Small and periodic knock in the engine if it amplifies on turns, specifies a low level of oil or on easing of fastenings of the engine or its details: a reception pipe of an exhaust system or the case of the air filter. If knock amplifies at a set of turns of the engine, its possible reasons can be: the increased backlashes of the valves which have been worn out yoke or bent of a bar of pushers of valves, the worn out pushers or the worn out camshaft.

The roar in the engine working under loading, is consequence of deterioration of radical bearings. If noise of metal it is audible at switching speeds, its source can be the stirred up flywheel. At start of the cold engine knock and even a roar can be caused by that pressure of oil grows too slowly. It occurs or because of a low level of oil, or because of deterioration of the oil pump, or because of deterioration of radical loose leaves or failure of a safety valve. Similar symptoms can be observed, if in the engine to fill in not that oil which is necessary for it, or incorrectly to pick up oil filters. As extraneous smells in interior can warn of malfunction of the car. So, for example, the smell of an acid can specify its leak from the bursted or overflown accumulator, and a smell singed cloths, most likely, prompts the driver, that it has not released a manual brake or has tightened time a pedal of coupling.

The special attention needs to be turned on an alarm bulb of pressure of oil. If it long does not die away, it is necessary to check up, whether whether oil and in that quantity is filled in in the engine. Very opposite squeal, which tone raises together with turns of the engine, testifies to rather unpleasant phenomena: failure of bearings of the water pump or bearings of the generator, the inlet collector or the carburettor involve air. Can be and such, that cog-wheel the starter has not left gearing with a gear wreath of a flywheel. Retraction of air between the carburettor and an inlet collector is accompanied by singing. Singing in area of the carburettor can appear also in cases of damage or leaky landing of a hose of the vacuum amplifier of brakes, a hose vacuum-proof-reader of ignition, wrong installation of the air filter, and also deterioration of an axis throttle.
